Next, Hillyer House built by Edgar Bohn. A wooden building stood at the site of the present Hillyer House (#207) and Historical Society Bldg (203). The building had two rental units, one was an ice cream parlor and the other a barber shop. The old building was torn down and the present Historical building was built for a bank which didn’t last long. Mr Harry Spence was bank manager and cashier; (at #205, which was also housed the former Lang Insurance and real estate business.
